Current Situation:  Offline for  at least the next few days. See you soon 🙏🏾 🙏🏾🙏🏾

# Pinned  Post:  Per the  Homepage,  the site is currently  offline. Keep checking back tho., because it can return at any time, but  probably not before  next week.
Suffice to say tho, that I suspect  the 'current issue' is  intended to stop  anything and everything, but especially  intended to stop the Gaza and Wayback Wednesday posts ...  since, among other things,  I now use Fridays to draw parallels between the Black struggle for liberation in America, and the Palestinian struggle for liberation in Gaza, while Thursdays are still used to focus on general  topics and news out of Gaza. Soooo,  again, the 'current issue' could be designed to throw a wrench in things. As for Wayback Wednesdays.... well.... Gary Webb one week, George Jackson the other? You do the math.  Hope to be back soon tho. So keep checking back. ( Fingers crossed).

I'ts been a year since I updated the Canton and other threads, but  I'll update them at some point. I simply don't have time to blog at length about events that shouldn't have transpired in the first place, nor do I have time to blog at length about the people , agencies or officials that carried the acts out, but, again, I'll update the threads at some point. I just  haven't had time for it and not really trying to make time.

That said, and on a slightly other note, I think the Sean Combs legal drama is about his stake in REVOLT. That is, Combs founded , chaired and launched REVOLT ( a digital cable network) in October 2013.  In November, 2023, however, just  over a year after REVOLT marked its tenth anniversary,  Combs 'Cassie Ventura drama' began , when Ventura filed a civil action in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of  New York. Suffice to say, all hell broke loose after Ventura filed the now infamous Complaint that named Combs and several of his business entities as defendants.  Although it was ultimately settled out of court,  the Complaint, which set forth  various allegations, preceded, if not facilitated, the September 2024  indictment against Combs. In turn, Combs sold his stake in REVOLT and resigned. But was that the goal of the litigation?  Was the Ventura case  and other litigation  merely a pretext to oust Combs at REVOLT  and/or accomplish  a hidden agenda? The systems hidden agenda? Specifically, is Sean Combs ongoing legal debacle really about the administration of justice, or   has the legal system simply been weaponized to check Combs and others who fail to stay in their place?  Just wondering, and asking for a friend.

So, I'm not now, nor have I ever been, a  wrestling fanatic, but I certainly knew who Hulk Hogan was.  I mean , lets face it, the dude was an icon. Everybody knew his name, and  everybody knew his face... to say nothing about the fact that the  WWE (formerly WWF),  similar organizations, and wrestling in general , literally blew up because of  him. Suffice to say, Hulk Hogan  brought an  unprecedented mix of sport and spectacle to the game , which, consequently,  attracted fans of all ages, and from all  corners of the Earth. That said,  given his contribution to wrestling and the culture, its not likely that he'll be forgotten any time soon -- if ever.

Rest in Power Big Dog. You was all that.

If NBC  were to start  airing The Cosby Show reruns on Thursdays at 8 pm EST , and run all episodes in sequence from Season One on, it would be one of the highest rated programs,  and, most likely would outpace the competition.
Since none of my recording platforms are working, I'm unable to make audio,  and don't have time to write at length about  one thing or  another,  so I'll just say this:

To a great extent,  many cases, such as United States  vs Sean Combs , function as a money grab for the Court, if not the system itself. That is, I allege, prosecutors are, more often than not, filing knowingly fraudulent criminal cases at an alarming rate, and  as a way of generating money for the Court and all relevant parties. Moreover, wealthy black men are being targeted at a rate that is disproportionate to that  of their white counterparts, but at the end of the day, and regardless of the outcome of this or any other case, everybody gets paid.  And thats the point. Simply, the legal system is a business, just  like any other. Thus, folks gotsta get paid. Soooo, since business is slow these days, many prosecutors are now filing  frivolous cases for good measure , fifteen minutes of fame, and/or  an easy payday.  Afterall, wealthy defendants  can afford costs and counsel up to , and thru, a US Supreme Court proceeding if need be. Right? So, many prosecutors  will  go for it  and file , whether  theres merit or not -- because everybody gets paid.

Long story short? United States  vs Sean Combs was little more than  a money grab -- an  opportunity  for  the Court and all parties involved to make money, because Combs, as a black billionaire, was well able to pay the associated costs, and the Federal Prosecutors knew it-- but they also knew they didn't have a RICO case.  They knew it. Everyone did ...  including the streets and the  jury, but they filed it anyway. They filed it because, again, regardless of the outcome,  the  Courts and all  relevant parties receive a handsome payday. And thats the point-- one of them anyway.  Sure,  the jury returned  Guilty verdicts on Count three, 'the Mann Act transportation of Cassandra Ventura,' and Count 5, 'the Mann Act transportation of Jane Doe,' but ,  frankly,  with regard to the Mann Act aka the 'White Slave Traffic Act of 1910,' I'm not sure the jurors applied the law correctly.   That is, based on  its current reading , and pursuant to  The National Law Center for Children and Families,   the Mann Act , ( named after Congressman James Robert Mann  (R) Illinois), 'criminalizes the transportation of minors, and the coercion of adults  across state lines or to foreign countries, for the purpose of prostitution or commercial sex.' But were Jane Doe and Cassie Ventura coerced?  I say no, because,  seemingly, these occurrences were frequent, so wouldn't that make it consensual?  That is,  even if  Jane and Cassie said 'no,' on one occasion,  if they said 'yes,' on  hundreds of  other occasions, that makes it consensual in my book, but apparently the jurors  thought otherwise, thus the guilty verdict on two counts. Still, as a result of  United  States vs Sean Combs, perhaps its time to rethink the Mann Act and  its legal appropriateness.  But for that matter, perhaps  its time to rethink prostitution and legalize it, because, although prostitution is morally conflicting for some, if not many,  the bottom line is: if someone wants to sell his or her body for commercial sex, whats it to you? More importantly, whats it to the government? In other words, perhaps its time for Uncle Sam to man up ( no pun intended), and stop playing bedroom police.  And thats just on periodt. Frankly, I  say the  only reason prostitution hasn't been legalized to date, is because Uncle Sam  hasn't figured out how to tax it and get his cut of the profits (lol). So, unless and until he does, you best believe, prostitution will remain a crime.

All that being said, there're other issues with United States vs Sean Combs. For one, initially,  Diddy tried to turn himself in  ( so as to avoid arrest and incarceration), but  Federal prosecutors would not allow him to do so. In fact, in an interview with Newsweek, Diddys attorney, Marc Agnifilo, said,
"They didn't want him to surrender, because, if he surrenders, they don't get to tell the judge that he's a flight risk and he's a danger, because , who as a danger and a flight risk, would fly to New York and surrender? So they didn't want him to surrender."

Of course, Diddy should have been allowed to surrender, which would have , most likely, resulted in his being booked and released , vs his being held without bond. But just exactly why  has Diddy been held without bond anyway? It makes no sense- unless they're trying to break him, teach him a lesson, or make him an example for the rest of us. Afterall, isn't this a first offense? And  isn't a defendant innocent until proven guilty? Absolutely. So, why no bond following his arrest, as if guilt had  been determined ahead of the trial? It  makes no sense. Diddy should have been allowed to surrender at the start of this debacle, then booked and released on his own recognizance. In the alternative, the Court should have set bond at a bond hearing, following his arrest. Either way, bond should have been set and   continued  pending the verdict and exhaustion of the appeal process -- but no bond was set, so Diddys been locked up for months. At the end of the day, the Federal prosecutors have robbed Diddy of his freedom, which may be  yet another goal of United States vs  Sean Combs.

Other issues? How about  Cassie Venturas appearance at the criminal trial? I don't know about you, but I have a problem with it. Afterall, didn't she and Diddy enter a settlement agreement in 2023 ? And don't settlement agreements typically contain a clause that prohibits all parties from starting or continuing a civil or criminal proceeding related to the issues? And don't settlement agreements typically prohibit all parties from speaking about the terms of the settlement agreement or other pertinent issues? In other words, didn't Cassie Venturas appearance and testimony at the trial , violate the terms of her  settlement agreement with Sean Combs, and,  if so,  should her appearance have been suppressed, or stricken from the record? Some say 'no,' because she was subpoenaed, and, consequently, had a legal obligation to appear, but I say  Diddys attorneys should have tried to suppress her testimony or strike it on grounds that it violates the terms of the settlement agreement. I don't think they moved to suppress or strike her appearance though, but it would have been worth a try, since you play to win in these matters. And nothing beats a failure but a try.

In any event, theres so much more to say about United States vs Sean Combs, but at the end of the day, whats this case really about? Money grab?   Smear campaign? Take down? Humiliation ritual?  I say all of the above. One things for sure, they never had a RICO case, and they know it. As for the Mann Act, I don't think the jurors applied the law properly, but, at the same time, I think the Mann Act  is overdue to be reviewed and amended for legal appropriateness, if not outright abolished.

Finally, and on a related note,  it is clear that the Mann Act  "criminalizes the transportation of minors, and the coercion of adults across state lines or to foreign countries, for the purpose of prostitution or commercial sex." But  what happens if the transportation is intrastate?   That is, while the Mann Act exclusively criminalizes  transportation across state lines or to foreign countries, it does not specifically address or criminalize intrastate transportation.  So, can one  assume that intrastate transportation for the same purpose is NOT a crime, since it  is not addressed by the Mann Act?

Just wondering ...  and asking for  a friend (lol) 😉

Wishing everyone a very pleasant, beautiful  and productive  day.  I'll be keeping the homepage updated, but not  much  else for the time being -- certainly no audio, because,  among other things, the device that I used to make the last few audios  has konked out on  me. Specifically, it does not currently  recognize  Windows.  That is, its giving a "please activate Windows" error message, but won't let me activate Windows. What's  nuts  about it is that  Windows was already activated,  because I've had the device since 2017 , so  its been active since then. To add insult to injury,  I am unable to perform a system restore to an earlier date, because, it has not created any restore points,  so there is no earlier date to go back to. On the bright side,  I have had off and on issues  with  this  device in the past, and  find that   turning it off and letting it sit for a spell ( ie. a week or more)  is the cure for what ails it, soooo, I'll let it sit for a spell and see what happens.  Meanwhile, I'll  keep  looking for an alternative way to  make audio  and/or fix  what's broken, and will keep you posted.

Sooo, all that being said,  once again, have a  pleasant, beautiful, productive day. And remember to stay hydrated, because these temperatures are no joke. Of course, given the choice, I 'll take excessive heat over excessive cold any day. And that's just on periodt. Ttyl  💕

Having issues with  a  hot mail account that I have probably had since 2003 or so.  Currently, I can't get into it. Error message says "too many requests," which isn't applicable since I don't open  it that often. I last opened it a few weeks ago, but  just mentioning this because I  previously spoke about Yahoo, and alleged that the wiping of my Yahoo accounts was  serious , intentional, and constitutes spoilation.  So now its Hotmail.  Just FYI.  Of course, it goes without saying that I don't have time for  more email drama. I'm just waaay too busy for that , but it is what it is. Maybe its been hacked. Who knows. Its the old accounts they are after tho, because the old accounts provide a historical record of my activities and etc., which have been plentiful. That said,  I think they just want to confirm whose account it is, because,  back in the day,  an email account could be  opened without any identifiable information,  which is no longer the case. So, frankly, they don't really know whose account it is. In any case, looks like they have changed something  regarding the log in page, but,  again, I  don't have time to fiddle with it at the  moment, if at all. I'm just entirely too busy for it, and they know it.

Shout out to  myself for being the first to advise  the public that SB 1 and other controversial bills  are not done deals (see post - election blog 3/20).  And shout out to myself for being the first ( as far a I can see)  to provide a link to the actual text of SB 1;  a link to information regarding how SB 1  and other  bills are signed into law; and a link to track the status  of SB 1  as it moves  thru the House and Senate.
That said,  hiss and boo to  media, most notably the Columbus  Dispatch,  for covering SB 1 as if it is  a done deal.

Again, SB 1 is not a done deal, as yet. Its still under review. Its fate however, will ultimately be decided by Governor Richard Michael DeWine, the man who  used the State Attorney Generals Office  to  seize control of Mt Zion Baptist Church,   and in so doing,  arguably , committed a crime, pursuant to  ORC  2921.41 A (1) .... but maybe they'll  draft another bill to cover that up.

Working on adding that commentary/audio about the sketch that went wrong on SNL50  ( see 2/17 post). I have it uploaded, but now I have to figure out how to add it to the site. This is a new recording option, so its tricky, but hopefully I will get it added soon, so check back.

P.S. I made the audio because I felt the sketch was delibertately sabotaged.  If I had thought it was a mistake, I would not have said anything, but  I don't think it was a mistake.

update: So its a wrap for today.
I will try to get the audio posted tho... it just won't be today--
