Eliminating the Federal Court you say ??? !!! Umm, I think not. For one, the Federal Court hears cases that implicate the government , or name it as a defendant; cases that raise color of law issues , and/or cases that raise other federal questions. Its also where diversity cases are heard, as well as criminal cases that allege violation of federal law. So, in the grand scheme of things, the Federal Court is absolutely necessary, because it has jurisdiction over unique issues that ultimately impact us all. Without it, for instance, we would still be sitting in the back of the bus. So the Federal Court is much needed. Eliminating it should never be an option.
Looking for change though? Why not eliminate the practice of appointing judges to serve in the Federal Court? Why not let District Court judges run for office, like judges at the state, county, municipal and other levels? That is, District Court Judges are currently nominated by the President, and confirmed by the US Senate for ( get this): A LIFE TIME TERM !!! 😮 !!! This is a whack process that should have ended yesterday though, as the government should not be permitted to hand pick the Judge that hears cases which , typically.... name it as a defendant. It doesn't look right. It doesn't feel right. And it ain't right. So change it. Change this whack practice, and let them guys and gals run for a seat on the bench, like most others. But, hand pick the Judge that presides over a case that implicates YOU ??? !!! 😮!!!
I call BS on that.

If you are looking for a copy of Ohio's controversial SB 1 bill aka Enact Advance Ohio Education Act, click here. And no, I have not read it yet, but I plan to. I 'll read it and interpret it myself, rather than have the media do it for me. That said, its not a done deal as yet, even though the media is presenting it as such. At the moment, the bill is in the 'concurrence phase,' which means that it has been passed by the House and the Senate, but is still being reviewed. If approved, the bill becomes an Act and goes to the governor , who can sign it into law, or reject it by issuing a veto. The governor must Act within ten days of receipt however, because , if he neither signs nor rejects the Act within ten days of receipt, it automatically becomes law.... with or without his signature.
Bottom line at this point tho? SB 1 is not a done deal as yet, but watch your back , and click here for status updates, and here for more on how a bill becomes a law in Ohio

On another note ... good idea to run as an Independent or Republican, cause da Blue Party gone keep tryna take a brutha down. You feel me?
Just Sayin'
P.S. Of course, you can run as a Dem if you have a mind to do so , because the people will ultimately decide the winner -- not the media, and not the party. Should you run as a Dem tho... be prepared for the Blue Party , with an assist from the American media, to work against you every step of the way. Just never lose site of the fact that, despite their efforts , you can, and will, still win ( and thats just on periodt).

At some point yesterday, I did an online search for Leonard Peltier ( which I periodically do), so as to check for any breaking news concerning him. Needless to say, I discovered that, on President Bidens last day in office ( 1/19), Mr. Peltiers life sentence was commuted to home confinement, and he was subsequently released from prison on February 18.
To say that I was astounded would be an understatement-- not astounded by his release, because it was long overdue, but astounded that this was not a bigger story in the media. Frankly, it is inconceivable to me that I had to LOOK for this story, rather than have it pounce on me upon log in. Lets face it, despite decades long calls for his release, Leonard Peltier was imprisoned for nearly fifty years, with many of us viewing him as a political prisoner throughout his confinement. Under the circumstances , his commuted sentence, and ultimate release , should have dominated the news, but did not. Instead, news of Peltiers release took a back seat to the mindless dribble that, sadly, now defines the American media , and/or whats left of it.
In any case, I am happy to hear of Mr Peltiers release, despite I had to search for the news. And, altho I had hoped for a full pardon, I accept the commuted sentence for now... and extend my sincere gratitude to President Joseph R Biden Jr for this courageous act of clemency.
That said... Welcome home bro. We missed you

Judge Ho is outta line -- way outta line. For one thing, there should not have been a hearing on the Motion to Dismiss , because it was unopposed. Not saying I have all the answers, (or any answers for that matter), but I do have an opinion, and a perception of the events that are playing out. That said, a hearing on a Motion to Dismiss is typically not held unless there is opposition , and, again, this one was unopposed. So wassup with the hearing?
For another, wassup with the line of questioning at the hearing ??? Not that I 'm privy to all that was asked, but I heard enough about it to conclude that the Judge has forgotten why he is there. Simply, he's there to preside over the case, not prosecute it. And thats just on periodt.
So since he's there to preside , rather than prosecute , whats it to him WHY the case is being dismissed (smh) ??? Seems to me that Ho, arguably a Biden operative (by virtue of the fact that Biden appointed him), is personally invested in the outcome of the case. And thats not a good look for Ho or any other Judge. In fact, to date, Ho's handling of the case makes it look as if he's pushing a hidden agenda.
Specifically, it looks as if he 's pushing a hidden agenda to oust Adams by any means necesssary , and replace him with a manufactured black who, (by the way) the media is already promoting (allegedly) (lol).
And whats this about Ho appointing another attorney to oppose the motion -- and /or drag this madness on indefinitely ???
Huh?
Whats that about?
Yo guess is as good as mine, but one things fo sho , either this is a fancy smancy updated version of the filibuster, or 'Emcee D' is simply determined to git his fiteen minutes outta this, because, without this proceeding, we likely would not know who this dude was.

As for the Eric Adams drama, I subscribe to the school of thought that says the case was politically motivated from the jump-- designed to undermind his bid for re-election, discredit him, and cause irreparable damage to his career. That said, when the Justice Department ordered the prosecution to drop the case, they should have dropped it, but, instead, chose to grand stand, because, seemingly, taking Adams down and creating unnecessary chaos, is a greater priority than following directives from the Justice Department.
Just Saying ....
And speaking of the media, dont get me started on how the media coverage is facilitating the 'take down.'
